ABOUT ME

BareBones Pottery is my company name, but I am Beth Marks! I started making pottery when I was in collage. It was originally suppose to be one of those fun elective course that you just take to fill up your schedule, but little did I know it would become my biggest passion! After graduating collage I got a full time job at my local hospital, I got married, got a dog, and we bought a fixer-upper home. Truly the beginning was rough, between trying to make pottery out of a cold basement and no kiln of my own, to say the least pottery was off the table for me at the time.

After a lot of praying, saving, and a ton of work to make as much as we could off our fixer upper of a home. My husband and I ended up moving and using some of the profit from our home to buy a kiln. And from then on I've been petal to the medal, creating work! I truly started my business at the end of 2024, and I can't WAIT to see what God has in store for this journey for 2025!

While I still work a full time job I hope one day my pottery is successful enough to deserve my full attention.
