ABOUT ME
BareBones Pottery is my small business name, but I'm Beth Marks, the artist and owner. I started making pottery when I was in collage. It was originally suppose to be one of those fun elective courses that you just take to fill up your schedule, but little did I know it would become my passion. After graduating collage I got a full time job at my local hospital, I got married, got a dog, and we bought a fixer-upper home. I still had the desire to make pottery, but things were tight. I knew God's timing was perfect to I held onto that desire.

After a lot of praying and saving, my husband and I finally ended up moving to the next town over and were able to purchase a kiln. Since then, I've been petal to the metal, creating work and watching as God has provided and this amazing community has shown up. I started making pieces to sell and kicked off my business at the end of 2024. I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity, this community, and God's timing!

While I still work a full time job I hope one day i can give this business my full attention.

To those of you who have purchased my pieces, THANK YOU! You have no idea how much your support means to a small business potter like myself. You have all my love an appreciation!
